Who We Are
The Mackay Women’s Centre is an incorporated, non-government, community-based organisation, governed by a local committee who are elected annually. The Mackay Women’s Centre provides a range of free counselling and support services for women in the city of Mackay and surrounding region.

The Mackay Women’s Centre is committed to providing an environment that supports and facilitates the empowerment of all women.
We are dedicated to ensuring that women are able to access specialist skills and knowledge that are relevant to their needs.
The Mackay Women’s Centre is dedicated to ensuring that the focus of the services provided out of the centre are women-centred and prioritise the safety of women and their children.
The Mackay Women’s Centre believes in:

■ The right of women to dignity, respect, privacy and confidentiality;
■ The right of women to be valued as individuals;
■ The right of women to access services on a non-discriminatory basis;
