ROOM HIRE
Host your next meeting or women’s event at the Mackay Women’s Centre. We have three rooms available to hire — The Meeting Room (seats approx. 40), The Sharon Alcorn Room (seats approx. 100) and the Consult Room (for one-on-one meetings/consultations) — perfect for your next function, seminar or meeting.

Note: Please provide a copy of your current Public Liability Certificate when booking a room.
Conditions of room hire
- No alcohol is to be consumed on site.
- Breakages should be reported to the Mackay Women’s Centre staff, with groups/organisations taking responsibility for all repairs/replacements.
- Cancellation of a regular booking should be made 7 days prior to the booked date or a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking fee will be charged.
- All relevant paperwork has been completed and signed.
- If the room is being used after-hours, you are responsible for ensuring the building is secured as per the instructions provided.
- KEYS ARE TO BE SIGNED FOR ON THE RECEIPT AND WHEN RETURNED
Payments can be made either by direct deposit, cheque or cash in person. Account details will be displayed on the invoice upon confirmation.
As part of our continuous improvement plans we request that a feedback form be completed by either the facilitator or participants.
