We run a volunteer program for women in the community who are interested in donating their time to the Mackay Women’s Centre.

It’s a great opportunity to lend a hand, give back to the community, help support families in need, ease back into the workforce and refresh your skills.

Volunteering can also count towards your eligibility to access subsidised child care through the Child Care Subsidy and, for some jobseekers, can count towards part or all of your mutual obligation requirements. Check with Centrelink to discuss your individual circumstances.
