The Mackay Women’s Centre promotes women’s health and emotional well being through a variety of regular classes, social groups, and workshops.

ZUMBA

Join Tatz and Bronwyn for Zumba each Tuesday from 9am-9:45am. The 45-minute classes are perfect for absolute beginners and the deconditioned!

SARINA ACTIVE WOMEN’S GROUP

The Sarina Active Women’s Group meets every Thursday from 10:30am-12:30pm.

TIME OUT TAI CHI

Embrace the well women in you through this ancient way of movement. Explore relaxation and breathing techniques to be used in stress reduction (no need to get on the floor!). 45 minute class every Wednesday at the Mackay Women’s Centre, register at 8:40am for a 8:45am start. $8 or $10 for non-members.

THE BELLA MAMAS CHOIR

Do you love to sing? Join the Bella Mamas Choir each Tuesday from 5:30-7pm. Gold coin donation.

Come and meet other women and make new friends in a safe and supportive environment. Every Wednesday from 9:30-11:30am.

Do you love to read and want to share your passion with others, then come along to book club every second Monday from 9:30am—10:30am. $2 donation.

WALKING GROUP

Join the Steppin’ it out Sistas walking group as they set off from a different location each week. The morning walking group meets at 9am each Thursday morning.

CHAIR YOGA

Join Bronwyn from Bromvoyage for this gentle yoga practice – great for beginners and no need to get on the floor! Classes are every Thursday from 9am. Members $8. Non-members $10.
