The Mackay Women’s Centre promotes women’s health and emotional wellbeing through a variety of regular classes, social groups, and workshops.
Here are some of our regular groups:
SARINA ACTIVE WOMEN’S GROUP
The Sarina Active Women’s Group meets at the CWA Hall on Brewer Rd every Thursday from 10:30am-12:30pm. Visit our events calendar for dates and times.
INTENTIONAL WELLBEING & MOVEMENT TAI CHI
A fusion of Tai Chi and Modern Exercise to support your body and achieve your goals. Come along and join Jess for better posture, better breathing and better balance. Visit our events calendar for dates, costs and times.
MACKAY ACTIVE WOMEN’S GROUP

INDIGENOUS WOMEN’S GROUP
The Indigenous Women’s Group meets at the Mackay Women’s Centre weekly to do arts, craft, indigenous pieces, chat, listen to guest speakers and more. Cost $2. Visit our events calendar for dates and times.
YOGA

MULTICULTURAL WOMEN’S CLUB
George Street Neighbourhood Centre runs a Multicultural Women’s Club for culturally and linguistically diverse women of Mackay to connect, to learn about women’s health and wellbeing, to share stories and experiences, to learn new skills and, most importantly, to enjoy themselves in a safe environment.
